The British luxury automobile brand Bentley has unveiled its plans for its first residential tower in Miami, following the footsteps of Porsche Design Tower and Aston Martin, which also boast luxury residential towers in the city.
Three standout features of the new tower:
- It will be the tallest oceanfront tower in the United States (60 stories – 230 meters);
- Like the Porsche Design Tower, the Bentley Tower will also feature a car elevator that allows owners to park directly inside their apartments;
- The windows of the Bentley Tower will be triangular (see photo), creating a faceted effect resembling a diamond cut. “It’s going to be a diamond that they can see all the way from Cuba when the sun hits on it,” said developer Gil Dezer.
In addition to these exclusive features, residents will enjoy various five-star amenities and services such as a restaurant, cinema, whiskey bar, gym, pool, spa, cigar lounge, cabanas, gardens, and more.
The Bentley Tower will be built in Sunny Isles Beach, one of Miami’s most prestigious areas, home to other ultra-luxury developments such as Porsche Design Tower, Armani Residences, Ritz Carlton Sunny Isles, Muse Residences, Regalia, and more.
For this new project, Bentley Motors has partnered with businessman Gil Dezer, a partner at Dezer Development in Florida. Construction will begin in 2023, with delivery expected in 2026.
Park your car inside your apartment
Each unit in the Bentley building will include a garage for more than one car, allowing vehicles to be safely stored inside the apartment – offering the ultimate in exclusivity and privacy. This feature is not new. In late 2016, Dezer Development completed the Porsche Design Tower, also in Sunny Isles Beach. The Porsche tower was a milestone in Miami’s luxury real estate industry, featuring the patented Dezervator, a car elevator that runs through the tower’s center.
The idea of the car elevator is to introduce the concept that “your car key is your apartment key.” It also embodies the concept of a house in the sky. Like in a house, you don’t have to exit your car to enter the elevator and reach your residence. You simply park your car and walk into your home’s entrance. In both the Porsche Tower and the Bentley Tower, you step out of your car directly into your home in the sky.
The patented car elevator is a prominent and luxurious feature for any luxury car enthusiast.
Additional luxury residence features
All residences will have a private indoor/outdoor terrace, a pool, and a sauna. Dezer notes that each residence has been designed for seamless indoor and outdoor living, with views of the ocean and bay through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Bentley’s design team collaborated with Dezer on the exterior and interior of the building, translating Bentley’s luxury design into a residential experience.
The innovative design of the Bentley Residences will offer unique views of the ocean and bay, thanks to the cylindrical shape of the building and floor-to-ceiling windows. The tower is designed to inspire new ways of embracing space and connecting to the stunning surrounding environment.
Bentley Triangular Windows
“It’s going to be a huge diamond that can be seen from Cuba when the sun hits it”
When looking at the renderings of the Bentley Tower, the triangular windows immediately stand out. Dezer confirms this will be a signature feature of the tower. “When we developed the plans for Bentley, we immediately thought of triangular windows,” he revealed. “We did the entire mockup – I spent $300,000 just on the mockup to see if we could make the windows that way (…) It’s going to be a huge diamond that can be seen from Cuba when the sun hits it. It will be amazing. You don’t live on the outside of your building, but when you tell people, ‘Hey, I live in the Bentley Tower,’ they’ll understand. They’ll ask, ‘Is it the one with the sparkling diamonds?’ Everyone will know where you live. There’s a pride of ownership that makes a building iconic.”
Adrian Hallmark, CEO of Bentley Motors, states: “The modern and progressive brand identity of Bentley Residences comes to life in both the internal and external spaces of the tower, rooted in authenticity, sustainability, and innovation. We partnered with Dezer to create a living experience that expresses Bentley’s philosophy and remains true to our vision of inspiring extraordinary journeys.”
“Partnering with Bentley Motors, a global luxury brand, and being able to create another innovation in the Miami market is an extraordinary opportunity,” added Gil Dezer, president of Dezer Development. “We have been instrumental in transforming the face and value of South Florida’s real estate sector through branded partnerships. With Bentley Motors, we will create something inspiring, powerful, and iconic – a true game-changer in luxury living.”
