What Could Be More Charming Than Living at Disney World?. For influencer Angie Bellemare, this dream became a reality when she purchased a home in Golden Oak, an exclusive luxury community located within the Disney complex in Orlando. In a video tour of her residence, Angie shares details of the unique lifestyle she and her husband have embraced, showcasing every corner of their home, decorated for Halloween and filled with Disney-inspired touches.

Golden Oak is an iconic community and one of the few places in the world where you can live immersed in Disney magic. Angie explains that the community is just four minutes from the Magic Kingdom. “The Magic Kingdom is about four minutes from here. It’s very magical; it feels like we’re on a movie set,” she says, kicking off the home tour. The calm atmosphere of the community contrasts with the energy of the parks, creating a magical yet relaxing environment for its residents. Angie mentions they named their residence “Bellar Cottage,” adding that it’s common for Golden Oak homeowners to name their houses, giving each a unique personality.

Disney-Inspired Décor in Every Detail

At the entrance, Angie shows a personalized plaque with the house’s name, a tradition in Golden Oak. She also highlights the Halloween-themed decorations she prepared, featuring illuminated pumpkins and details that perfectly align with Disney’s style. “These pumpkins shine so brightly at night and add such a special touch,” she explains. For fans of themed décor, Angie’s house is a treasure trove of ideas. She ensures that Disney touches can be found in every corner of her home. In the entryway, a coral-shaped chandelier adds a touch of sophistication. “It’s a piece we really love because it brings a coastal vibe to the house,” says Angie, who appreciates the blend of coastal style with elegant Disney elements.

Another highlight is the Mickey topiary at the entrance, inspired by a similar sculpture in Disney Springs. The piece was custom-made by a company in Fort Lauderdale based on Angie’s sketch. “I wanted it to have a unique touch, so I asked them to design a Mickey with special charm,” she shares.

A Unique Lifestyle at Golden Oak

Angie pauses the tour to showcase the porch, one of her favorite spots in the house. “In the cooler months, we love keeping the doors open, letting in the fresh air. It’s a wonderful feeling,” she says. She mentions that this is where she enjoys exercising and having breakfast with her husband. “We have our coffee in these rocking chairs while admiring the view of the fountain and forest nearby. It’s so peaceful and private,” she adds.

Golden Oak offers the unique combination of proximity to Disney’s heart and the tranquility of a private and exclusive space. “It’s so calm here that, even being close to everything, it feels like a retreat,” Angie notes. She highlights the privacy as one of the community’s most special aspects. Even the road behind their home is quiet, accessed only by Disney vehicles, such as buses transporting visitors and staff.

The Heart of the Home: Themed Kitchen and Living Room

Moving indoors, Angie takes us to the living room, highlighting her personal touch in every detail. “This is where Andre and I enjoy cocktails at the end of the day or watch a movie,” she explains. The space is filled with décor from the “Make Life Magical” collection, including blankets, pillows, and a small DIY area where she creates themed decorations.

Angie’s kitchen also reflects her love for Disney. She displays her decorative mugs and plates, featuring character-inspired details, along with a shelf showcasing her “Poison Apple” collection inspired by Snow White. “Every piece was carefully chosen to match the house’s theme, and I love how these small details bring Disney magic into our daily lives,” she says.

A Tour of Themed Rooms

Upstairs, Angie reveals what she calls her “Disney closet,” a dedicated space for her extensive collection of backpacks, Halloween items, and other Disney-themed accessories. “I’ve always dreamed of having a closet dedicated to Disney where I could store all my collectible items,” she says.

The guest bedrooms also receive special attention, each with a distinct touch. One guest room, for instance, features a Bambi theme, complete with character statues and illustrated books. “I want to transform this room into a true movie experience,” she explains while showcasing some of the details.

The Dream Deck: The Perfect Spot to Watch Disney Fireworks

Angie concludes the tour by taking us to the outdoor deck, which she and her husband call “The Dream Deck.” She explains that it was a wedding anniversary gift, designed to offer the best view of the Magic Kingdom’s fireworks. “It’s our favorite spot in the house. Here, we can watch the fireworks at night while soaking in the Disney atmosphere around us,” Angie says.

The deck is equipped with comfortable chairs, special lighting, and décor inspired by Disney movie adventures. “This is where we relax and enjoy the magical view of the fireworks, as if we had our own private Disney,” she adds.
